The ‘Seven Sisters’ rose is named for the variety of colors that can appear in each cluster of flowers, ranging from carmine through purple, mauve, pink, and cream as the flowers fade. This plant grows best in deep, fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Best flowering and disease resistance occur in full sun. Plants have better tolerance for some shade than most other types of roses.
