The Orange Quince tree is a large, round, bright yellow fruit that often exceeds one pound. The fruits are flavorful, aromatic and excellent for cooking. The tree has beautiful foliage and flowers. This is an old variety that is widely planted in the Eastern U.S. It is cold hardy yet has a low chilling requirement. This particular quince tree is not self fertile and should be planted with another type of quince tree. (USDA Zones 5-9)
