The Carolina Sapphire is a evergreen specimen that is most commonly planted for the purposes of providing a barrier, or privacy wall to block noise and unsightly neighbors. This particular specimen is immune to pests and disease, most notably the infamous 'cypress canker' that takes out so many different cypress species. Very similar to the Arizona Cypress, the Carolina Cypress is extremely drought tolerant, unlike any other plant. (USDA Zones 6-9)
